Pam Powell
Pam Powell formerly a marketing manager, found a new calling in the art world upon her retirement. Residing in a small rural village near Llandudno, North Wales, she is predominately a self-taught botanical watercolour artist, her work taking between 50 and 300 hours to complete.
The transition from a corporate career to full-time artist has been a journey of rediscovery and fulfilment, allowing her to immerse herself in the creative process.
She is an active member of the Wales Society of Botanical Illustrators, the Association of Botanical Artists as well as local art groups. She has had her work exhibited in the Royal Cambrian Academy “Open” exhibition, the Association of Botanical Artists “Magic of Leaves” and “Drama” online exhibitions and the “Open” Exhibition at Storiel, Bangor and “Open “ exhibition Pensychnant, Conwy.
Her work is in many local private collections and her greetings cards printed from her artwork are on sale locally and online.
