I studied art with the Society of Botanical Artists and am now a Fellow of the society.Awards include ‘St Cuthberts Mill Award’, and the ‘Margaret Granger Memorial SilverBowl’ with the SBA, also the ‘SchminckeAward’ with the Royal Institute of Painters inWatercolours.I have published books and have had many articles published in leading art magazines.“I strive for representative and realistic images. I believe art should have the power totransform the commonplace into the exceptional. I look for beauty in the simplest subjects:foliage, grasses and raindrops.
